Builder$sense is GVEA’s electrical energy efficiency residential rebate program for home builders who install electrical energy efficiency measures during construction.

By "building in" energy efficiency from the start, homeowners will not only save money on their electric bills throughout the life of the home, but builders also receive a rebate for installing identified energy efficient measures.

ELIGIBLE GUIDELINES

home under construction Who & What is eligible?

How to participate
It’s easy; no application is necessary. Call GVEA at 452-1151, ask for the Builder$sense program. Our Energy Efficiency Specialist will schedule an appointment to inspect your residence, complete the paperwork and process your rebate.

Does participation in Builder$ense affect participation in other Energy$ense programs?
Builder$sense applicants may participate in Home$ense but in no case will GVEA pay incentives for a single installation more than one time.

General rules
To be eligible for a rebate, electrical equipment must be U.L. listed and all electrical and plumbing installations should conform with all applicable building codes. There is no limit to the number of eligible measures installed.
