Auto Pay Option

Now you can pay your electric bill automatically. Choose from three options:

1. automatic payment from your credit card;
2. automatic payment from your debit card; or
3. online GV E-Bill using credit or debit card or withdrawal from checking or savings account.

For options 1 and 2, e-mail or call us for an application form. With options 1 and 2, we will still mail you a monthly statement at least ten days before the payment is processed. Learn more about option 3 at GV E-Bill. You'll never have to write or mail another check or miss another payment while out of town. Call 452-1151 and ask for Auto Pay for additional information.

Between Tenants Agreement (BTA)

As a landlord, you can arrange to have the electric account for your rental property automatically put in your name when your tenant requests a disconnect. Just sign a BTA, and there is no loss of service between tenants. For more information, contact the Member Services Department at 452-1151 or contact us.

Budget Plan

If you heat your home with electricity, you may be eligible for the GVEA Budget Plan. Spread your winter heating costs over the entire year by making 12 equal monthly payments. Enrollment in the Budget Plan is open only during the months of April and May. For more information, contact the Billing Section at 452-1151.

Moving?

We know how hectic things can get when it comes time to move. If you are a residential account holder, we may be able to connect or disconnect your account over the phone and save you a trip to the office. Simply call our Member Services Department at 452-1151. There are times when the service you request will require a visit to our office.

Requests for connects and disconnects of a general service account must be made in writing. This may be done at the GVEA office nearest you. NOTE: Only an authorized signer on the account may request a disconnect.

All requests to cancel a Between Tenants Agreement (BTA) on an account must be made in writing by the property owner. BTAs allow for continuous service at rental properties even when a tenant requests a disconnect.

Third Party Notification

Third party notification is an option for you to designate a third party to receive notice of a pending disconnect initiated by GVEA. Interested? Call 452-1151, and ask for the Member Services Department, or contact us.

Joint Account

An individual member may request a joint account and add another person to the membership. This allows either person to conduct business on the account.

Members with a joint account may request termination of the joint membership and conversion to an individual membership account.
