Next spring, members in Districts 4 and 7 will elect their Board representative. Nominating committees are forming now. Each committee will select a slate of at least two qualified candidates for GVEA’s Board of Directors.

There is a required three-hour training session in early November and the committee usually meets 3 to 4 times between November and February at a convenient location selected by the committee members. Nominating committee members are compensated $45 per meeting attended and 56¢ per mile.

Frank Eagle currently represents members in District 4.

Bill Nordmark currently represents members in District 7 and serves as chairman of the board.
